Stayed at both Billy's lodge & River lodge (they are about 40 minutes drive apart). The rooms were almost exactly the same. Both places were amazing with private pools and gave viewing areas. The food was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The safari drives were super!

Good size service apartment with everything you need (kitchen, washing machine, dryer, bathtub, shower, balcony, kitchen equipment), the only thing was that the wifi was not free. It is available but you need to pay for it.
There is a swimming pool but it is in between two tall buildings. It might be ok during the hot summer months but when we were there it was too cold. Plus the pool chairs weren't very comfortable.
We felt totally safe there. If you need to go anywhere, there is a taxi service from the complex.
And the best part was that they had a huge bathtub!
